Isaiah 57  Even in light of the depravity and depth of sinfulness that Israel had fallen into.... God called out to His people.  "For thus says the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, 'I dwell on a high and holy place, and also with the contrite and lowly of spirit in order to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.'"

His love knows no limit, but His judgements are always perfectly just. "... I will not contend forever, neither will I always be angry; for the spirit would grow faint before Me and the breath of those whom I have made."   The sins of Israel caused the Lord to be angry with them.  But, He still loves them.. "I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners, creating the praise of the lips. 'Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near.' says the Lord, 'and I will heal him.'"

My hope is  in His Word. God is able to do anything.. and He will do more than anything we can ask or imagine... bringing salvation to all who will just believe.. to the praise of His glory.  Hallelujah!

" For God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved) and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus."  Ephesians. 2:4-6

Father, rich in mercy, full of love and grace, be glorified in all the earth. Thank You for the salvation of our souls. Thank You for being patient and kind and merciful. Thank You for Your great love for us. Your praise is on our lips! Amen.
