 Isaiah 11:11 - 12:6   There is a time when Israel will be restored once again.  After the exile to Babylon, Israel returned to her land.  But, that did not last.  Then again, in more recent times, Israel once again became a nation.  Yet, she is not all that God intends her to be.  Isaiah describes a day when all the remnant will return.. "from the four corners of the earth."

"Then you will say on that day, 'I will give thanks to Thee, O Lord; for though Thou wast angry with me, Thine anger is turned away, and Thou dost comfort me." (12:1)

Because of God's love and grace we can also sing this song of praise to God who is our salvation. " I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation."

Isaiah exhorts us to;

Give thanks.

Call on His name.

Make known His deeds.

Make people remember "that His name is exalted."

"Praise the Lord in song..."  telling of the "excellent things" He has done.

"Cry aloud and shout for joy."

Let us worship the Lord, the "Holy One" who is in our midst.

Father in heaven, how excellent is Your Name in all the earth!  We are thankful for the things that You have done. You sent Your Beloved Son to purchase our salvation!  You have given us Your Spirit so that we might have new life in Jesus. You have delivered us from the power of sin and death and hell.  You have loved us with an everlasting, unfailing, perfect love.  You have indeed done excellent things! You have not only looked upon us.. each and every one of us individually.. but You have known every nation, through all the ages.. and have called out for Yourself a remnant who will live with You for eternity. From the beginning of creation until the end of this age.. Your plan will be perfectly completed. You will be exalted. Jesus will be glorified. And we will be complete.  Your thoughts are so far above our thoughts and Your ways so much higher than anything we can think or imagine. Help us to keep our eyes on these truths.. to trust You fully.. and to continually give thanks as we proclaim Your excellencies to the world around us. Sanctify us through and through, so that we might stand blameless and unashamed on that day. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, who lives in us..  Amen.
