II John  - one verse stands out.. " Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love." 

When we are "walking in the truth" and obeying the Lord's commandments.. that we "love one another"...  then, John says.. we will have "grace, mercy, and peace.. "

Abide in the Truth.  Abide in God the Father and in Jesus Christ His Son.
"Watch yourselves.. "  John warns, so we don't lose this.

In III John, we are reminded that not everyone who calls themselves a christian lives in the truth.
We are deceived when we allow anything to carry away from the Truth.

" Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God"

Constantly abiding.. in Him, in His truth and His love... bottom line..

Father in heaven, keep us in Your perfect peace, whose minds are fixed on You.  May Your mercies, which are new every morning, be manifested to our hearts, souls, and bodies today.  May Your grace, which is sufficient for all things.. fill us once again.  Help us to walk in truth and in love.  By the power of Your Spirit, may we do what is good, for Your glory and according to Your perfect will, Amen.
