Titus 2  Once again, Paul emphasizes the need to teach "sound doctrine".   The Truth is our firm foundation, our hope, our message... our basis for everything we do and how we live..  And the only real Truth is God's Word.. written, the Bible..  and Living.. Jesus Christ.. the Word made flesh.

The life of a believer who is devoted to the Truth.. will be a reflection to the One who is " the Way, the Truth, and the Life"..  Whether we are young or old, male or female, slave or free.. we who are "looking for the blessed appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus; "  will bear the fruit of the Spirit - more and more as we grow in faith and in the knowledge of God.

We will be:

"temperate, ( sober, diligent; circumspect)
dignified
sensible ,
sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance." v2

"reverent.. not malicious gossips.. nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good," v3

".. sensible, pure, workers at home, kind,  being subject to [our] own husbands... " v5

".. sensible.. and example of good deeds... with purity in doctrine , dignified, sound in speech" v7-8

We will "deny ungodliness and worldly desires and... live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age."

Jesus "gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. "  ( v14)

As the redeemed people of God, we must live in a way that "may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect."

Father in heaven, let Your will be done in me, in us, today.. that Your Word will be proclaimed, even if I/we do not say a thing!  May my life reflect Your love, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, and self-control.  May my doctrine be sound, my ways be pure, and my love overflowing.  To the glory of Your Name!  Amen.
