Hebrews 13 Because "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever"  we can walk "confidently" in Him.... "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What shall man do to me?"

As we seek to live in Him and for Him.. we learn to trust that He will "equip [us] in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen." (v21) 

He equips us to love each other.  He equips us to "show hospitality". He equips us to "remember the prisoners", and to honor our marriages.  He equips us to be content and not allow the love of money to rule our lives.  He equips us stay away from "strange teachings" and to go "outside the camp".. to Jesus. 

He equips us to offer "sacrifices of praise to God". 

Father in heaven, "God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord... " equip us as You have said. May our lives be laid down at Your feet. May we be strengthened so that we can fly like eagles and run without growing weary.. to do Your will. We need You to fill us, mold us, make us.. and use us... as only You can. Without You, Jesus, we can do nothing.. but in You we can do all things.. to Your glory and praise and honor.. Your will be done... we pray.. In Jesus' name....Amen.
