Esther - The story of this young woman's life shows how God leads even through the most trying of situations.  She was chosen to be in Ahasuerus' harem.. not a delightful situation for a Jewish girl. But, she was loved by the King and made queen which turned out to be the way that God delivered His people from destruction. 

We often wonder why God allows certain things in our lives. I'm sure Esther and Mordecai could never imagine what God was going to do through them. They had to keep trusting.. keep praying.. and keep being faithful to obey God's Word and to live as His people.. even in the midst of a pagan culture. 

And so must we.. 

Father in heaven, we know that You know our situations.. our struggles.. our fears.. and our doubts. We pray that Your will be done.. for we know that You are a Good, good Father and that You care for us.  So once again we cast all our anxiety upon You. We will trust You and worship You alone. Thank You for being the one who loves and cares for us. Amen.
